Making choices, decisions, in the interest of your highest and best self.
The outcomes in our lives, the pathways we carve for ourselves, are the result of thousands of tiny choices — made moment by moment — across the course of days, months and years.
How many of these choices do we make by subconscious default, following the previously woven patterns of our lives, the well-trodden hallways of our beliefs — about what we deserve, who and how we are and where we see ourselves going — and what keeps us safe? We don’t think, we react, in expected ways with the expected results.
But what might happen if we consciously chose to forge new pathways, consider new possibilities for ourselves, opening to the suggestion that we may be made for more than that which we’ve accepted as our lot so far?
Perhaps you’ve told yourself that some things are not for a person like you?
What if, just for today, you let down your guard a little and experimented? Talked a little more openly about what you’re experiencing and listened, really listened, for new responses. And then responded again, in the moment. Chose a new outlook on a daily happening that irritates you, took a different route through your office building, or the park?
